Abstract Novel pyrone, chromone and coumarinderivatives of aminomethanephosphonic acid were obtained in a one-step process, by treatment of a mixture of heterocyclic aldehyde and amine with tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphite, and a subsequent solvolysis of the formed silylated product with methanol.
