Provided herein is a compound of formula (XXXII) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, hydrate, stereoisomer thereof or a physiologically functional derivative thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, G, A, E, n, p, and q are defined herein. Also provided herein are compositions comprising a compound of formula (XXXII), and methods of using a compound of formula (XXXII), e.g., in the treatment or prevention of skin disorders.
The construction of the pyrrolidine ring about a nitrogen of a primary amine by a reductive condensation reaction using 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran and sodium borohydride in acidic water medium is described. The reaction is fast, affords good to excellent yields and appears insensitive to electron effects and severe steric hindrance; it is found to be compatible with a large variety of aryl substituents, including nitro and oxo groups. The reaction allows the introduction of two deuterium atoms, with label conservation, in both the α-positions of the pyrrolidine ring by the use of sodium borodeuteride instead of sodium borohydride.

CO2 was found to be directly convertible into anthranilicacid derivatives of great synthetic value through a three-component coupling using arynes and amines. Zwitterions arising from nucleophilic attack of amines to arynes serve as key intermediates in the coupling.
Enamines (1a-r) prepared from cyclohexanones, cyclohexane-1,3-diones, or tetralones led to arylamines (2a-r) in one pot when treated with a stoichiometric amount of palladium salts [PdCl2-(MeCN)2] in acetonitrile in the presence of triethylamine at room temperature or at elevated temperature, in some cases for 5 min to 2 h. The initial electrophilicattack of palladium chloride on the beta-carbon of
