The addition of the dianion derived from 2-oxophosphonates to chiral N-( TERT-butylsulfinyl)ketimines or -aldimine under mild reaction conditions afforded 4-( TERT-butylsulfinylamino)-2-oxoalkylphosphonates with good to excellent diastereoselectivity.
