The control of the self-organisation of dye molecules in solution by bulky peripheral groups has been demonstrated. Consequently, fluorescent dyes could be prepared with a persistent fluorescence, even at very high concentrations because of a complete suppression of aggregation. Es wird eine Reihe neuer Fluoreszenzfarbstoffe auf Perylen-Basis beschrieben, bei denen durch sterische Abschirmung eine Aggregation unterdrückt wird, so daß eine Fluoreszenz-Konzentrationslöschung unterbleibt. Diese Substanzen können daher auch in konzentrierter Lösung als Fluoreszenzfarbstoffe eingesetzt werden.
