Entropic destabilization of low-molecular mass
µ-peroxodicopper(II) complexes are overcome using a new
binucleating open-chain ligand by the combination of an optimized linking
unit with a less competing solvent; complete formation and satisfactory
stability at room temperature are thus obtained.
