    A flame-retardant resin composition comprises a base resin (e.g., a polyester-series resin), a flame retardant (A) comprising a salt of an amino group-containing triazine compound with a sulfuric acid and/or a sulfonic acid, a flame-retardant auxiliary (B). The flame-retardant auxiliary (B) includes an aromatic resin, a cyclic urea- series compound or a derivative thereof [e.g., acetyleneurea, uric acid, a salt of melamine or a condensate thereof (e.g., melam, melem, and melon) with cyanuric acid], an amino group-containing triazine compound (e.g., melamine or a condensate thereof), and/or an inorganic metal-series compound (e.g., a metal salt of an oxygen acid having no sulfur atom, a metal oxide, a metal hydroxide, and a metal sulfide). The present invention provides a flame-retardant resin composition to which flame retardancy is imparted without using a halogen-series flame retardant and an organic phosphorus-series flame retardant.

    The present invention relates to catalyst components and catalysts for olefinic polymerization. The catalyst components utilize magnesium chloride and silica as composite support, and the particle morphology thereof can be improved by regulating the ratio of magnesium chloride to silica. Further, the purpose of stabilizing the rate of catalytic polymerization reaction and improving the particle morphology of polymer so as to meet the requirements on catalyst performance of various polymerization processes can be achieved through the combination of the supports of the catalyst. In the meantime, when used in the polymerization of propylene, the catalysts of the present invention exhibit a relatively high polymerization activity and high stereospecificity.

    A catalyst component for olefin polymerization is disclosed, which comprises a reaction product of the following components: (1) a spheric carrier; (2) a titanium compound; and optionally, (3) an electron donor, wherein the spheric carrier comprises a reaction product of at least the following components: (a) a magnesium halide represented by a general formula of MgX2-nRn, wherein X is independently chloride or bromide, R is a C1-C14 alkyl, a C6-C14 aryl, a C1-C14 alkoxy, or a C6-C14 aryloxy, and n is 0 or 1; (b) an alcohol compound; and (c) an epoxy compound represented by a general formula (I), wherein R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, a C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl, or a C1-C5 linear or branched haloalkyl. When the catalyst of the invention is used in olefin polymerization, in particular in propylene polymerization, at least one of the following desired effects can be achieved: high polymerization activity of catalyst, high stereospecificity of catalyst, good hydrogen response of catalyst, high stereoregularity of polymer having high melt index, and low content of polymer fines.

    Spherical carriers for an olefin polymerization catalyst, catalyst components, catalysts, and preparation methods therefor are disclosed. The method for preparing the spherical carriers comprises the following steps: (1) reacting, in the presence of at least one polymeric dispersion stabilizer, a magnesium halide with an organic compound containing active hydrogen to form a complex solution; (2) reacting said complex solution with an alkylene oxide-type compound to directly precipitate solid particles; and (3) recovering the solid particles to obtain spherical carriers. When a catalyst prepared by using the present spherical carrier is used in propylene polymerization, said catalyst exhibits high polymerization activity and high stereo-directing ability.
