The silylakyl(ether-phosphanes) XnMe3nSi(CH2)m+2P(Ph)D (3a, b, e, 4a, b, e, 5a) [X Cl, OMe; m = 1, 4; n = 1, 3; D CH2C4H7O2 (3), CH2C4H7O) (4), CH2CH2OCH3 (5)] are obtained by a photochemically induced addition of the secondary phosphanes HP(Ph)D to the olefinic double bond of the ω-alkenylchloro-and ω-alkenylmethoxysilanes XnMe3nSi(CH2)mCHCH2.
