  Metal complexes containing the ligands [CH(SiMe 3 )PPh 2 NSiMe 3 ] - [LL′] - } and [CH(SiMe 3 )Ph(1,2-C 6 H 4 )P NSiMe 2 }] - [LL″] - } are reported [from, as initial precursor, CH 2 (SiMe 3 )PPh 2 NSiMe 3 ]: Li(LL′), K(LL′), [Li(LL″)] 2 4, Pb(LL′) 2 5 and Pb(LL″) 2 ; mass and multinuclear NMR spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction data for 4 (a fused tricyclic complex having a central LiNLiN ring) and 5 are presented.
