  Die Erfindung betrifft synergistisch wirkende Mittel und Verfahren zur Regulierung des Pflanzenwachstums, welche als Wirkstoff der Formel I den Ethylester der 4-Cyclopropyl-3,5-cyclohexandion-1-carbonsäure der Formel I zusammen mit einer synergistisch wirkenden Menge eines Phenolethers der Formel II eines Chloracetanilides der Formel III eines Dinitroanilines der Formel IV des Ethylesters von N-Benzoyl-N-(3,4-dichlorphenyl)-DL-alaninsäure, oder von 1,1-Dimethylpyridin-chlorid, 2-Chlor-N,N-trimethylethylammonium-chlorid, 2-Chlorethylphosphonsäure, 1-Phenyl-4,4-dimethyl-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-pent-1-en-3-ol, 1-(4-Chlorphenyl)-3,3-dimethyl-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol- 1-yl)-butan-2-ol oder von 5-(1-Methylthiocyclopropan-1-yl)-[-(trans-2-chlorallyloximino)-propionyl]-cyclohexan-1,3-dion, enthält. R₁ bis R₉ in den Formeln II bis IV haben die in der Beschreibung gegebene Bedeutung. Das Mittel dient zur Regulierung, besonders zur Hemmung des Wachstums von Getreide und Gras und wird vorteilhafterweise post-emergent angewendet.
