    Polyisocyanurate foams are prepared by reacting together an organic polyisocyanate, a blowing agent, a trimerization catalyst, and a minor amount of a polyol blend comprising (a) about 5 percent to about 95 percent by weight of said blend of an alkylene oxide adduct of an aromatic amine of the formula wherein Z is a divalent aromatic radical, x, x', y, and y' each independently have an average value from about 1 to about 5, and each R is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl or aryl, provided that the adduct is capped with ethylene oxide units, and (b) about 5 percent to about 95 percent by weight of said blend of an aromatic polyester polyol having a molecular weight of from about 150 to about 5,000. Laminates of such foams exhibit a high degree of fire resistance, low foam friability, high compressive strength, and excellent facer adhesion.

    There is disclosed an insulated wire, which comprises at least one insulating layer toned by applying and baking, directly or via another insulating layer on a conductor, a resin composition containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyamidimide resin and a polyimide resin, each having, in the molecular structure of the resin, a structure represented by formula (I), and/or a resin composition containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyamidimide resin and a polyimide resin, each having, in the molecular structure of the resin, a structure represented by formula (II), and said insulated wire has 0.2% yield stress of not more than 110 Mpa. This insulated wire, even if its insulation coating is made thinner, is excellent in resistance to scratches, and it is able to prevent the coating from breakage at the time of coil working, especially of the insertion of a coil into a stator slot, under rigorous conditions. In the formulae, R1, R2, R3, and R4, each are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, or an alkoxy group.

    A resin composition for a sliding member is difficult to peel and whose component is difficult to elute when the resin composition is formed as a film on a surface of a mechanical part, even though the resin composition is used in environment where the slidingmember contacts lubricating oil containing a sulfur-based additive or in atmosphere containing a sulfur-based compound. A resin composition for a sliding member to be used for a mechanical part having a surface thereof formed of said sliding member. The resin composition contains polyamide-imide resin having an elongation percentage of 60% to 120%, fullerene, and at least one disulfide selected from among molybdenum disulfide and tungsten disulfide. 0.1 to 10 vol% of the fullerene and 0.5 to 20 vol% of the disulfide are contained in an entirety of the resin composition.
