Stereoselective Heck-type Cross-Coupling Reactions of Iodine Heterocyclic Compounds with Olefins

Polyfunctional molecules are prepared by a modified stereoselective Heck-type cross-coupling reaction between iodine heterocyclic compounds and olefins in DMF using Pd(OAc)2 as a catalyst in the presence of bases (Na2CO3 or K2CO3). This coupling reaction proceeds smoothly at room temperature and gave coupling products in high yields.
