  Disclosed are novel bis(arylpiperazinyl)sulfur compounds represented by formula I ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently hydrogen, lower alkyl, halogen, nitrile or methylthio; m and n are each independently 2 or 3; and X is a dithio, thio, sulfinyl or sulfonyl and nontoxic, pharmaceutically acceptable addition salts thereof.
