  Pyridinethiol-tin compounds having the formula of RS-SnX.sub.2 -SR' in which R and R' are groups derived from unsubstituted or substituted pyridines or unsubstituted or substituted pyridine N-oxides. A process for the preparation of the same is also discosed. The compounds are stabilizers for polyolefins.
