Two energetic ionic salts DATr·NTO (2) and DATr·TNR (3) of 3,4-diamino-1,2,4-triazole (DATr) (1) were synthesized by reaction of 3,4-diamino-1,2,4-triazole with either 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazole-5-one (NTO) or 2,4,6-trinitro-resorcinol (TNR) in aqueous solution.
