The preparation of tris(dimethylphenylphosphine) dihalogenopalladium(II) complexes and the crystalstructure of dichlorotris(dimethyIphenylphosphine)palladium(II) are reported. The co-ordination of the palladium ion is distorted square pyramidal with one palladium–chloride bond of 2.96 Å.
