Paramagnetic Mn(11)and Mn-111 complexes containing two ferrocenylethynyl ligands were synthesized. Their redox reactions were studied by cyclic voltammetry and chemical methods. The structures of the resulting compounds were determined by IR, H-1 NMR, and ESR spectroscopy. The structure of the complex [(FcC=C)(2)Mn(dmpe)(2)]+PF6- was established by X-ray diffraction analysis.
