    A primary object of the present invention is to provide a hydrogen peroxide gas detection indicator which allows more certain visual recognition of color changing according to the concentration of hydrogen peroxide gas. The structure of this invention relates to an ink composition for detecting hydrogen peroxide gas containing (1) at least one of styrene acrylic resins and styrene-maleic acid resins and (2) a methine dye. According to this invention, a color-changing layer is formed using the ink composition for detecting hydrogen peroxide gas, allowing color changing according to the concentration of hydrogen peroxide gas to be visually recognized.

    An object of the present invention is to provide: a plasma treatment detection indicator comprising a color-changing layer that exhibits improved heat resistance so that the layer does not change color even when overheated at up to about 170° C. as a result of a plasma-generating gas not being supplied or being insufficient due to a defect in a plasma treatment device; and an ink composition for detecting plasma treatment, the composition being for forming the color-changing layer. The ink composition for detecting plasma treatment includes a colorant and a binder resin containing a phenol resin, and the plasma treatment detection indicator uses the ink composition.

    Provided is an indicator that can easily detect whether treatment with at least one member of plasma, ozone, ultraviolet rays, and radical-containing gas is uniformly performed on an entire substrate in an electronic device manufacturing apparatus; also provided is a method for designing and/or managing an electronic device manufacturing apparatus using the indicator. The indicator is used in an electronic device manufacturing apparatus, wherein (1) the indicator detects at least one member selected from the group consisting of plasma, ozone, ultraviolet rays, and radical-containing gas, (2) the indicator has a shape that is the same as that of a substrate used in the electronic device manufacturing apparatus, (3) the indicator contains a color-changing layer, and (4) the color-changing layer is formed by an ink composition whose color changes or disappears by reaction with at least one member selected from the group consisting of plasma, ozone, ultraviolet rays, and radical-containing gas.

    This invention provides a plasma treatment detection indicator that uses a fibrous base material or a synthetic resin base material comprising a coloring pigment as a base material and in which fine fiber pieces or coloring pigment is prevented from being generated in a powder form from the base material in plasma treatment. More specifically, this invention provides a plasma treatment detection indicator comprising a base material and at least a color-changing layer that changes color in a plasma treatment atmosphere, the color-changing layer being disposed above part or all of a surface of the base material, (1) the base material being a fibrous base material or a synthetic resin base material comprising a coloring pigment, and (2) a resin-based or inorganic transparent cover layer that covers all of the surface of the base material being disposed between the base material and the color-changing layer.
