    An epoxy resin composition including an epoxy resin and a curing agent as essential components, in which the curing agent comprises a phenol resin which has each structural moiety of a phenolic hydroxyl group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (P), an alkoxy group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (B) and a divalent aralkyl group (X), and also has, in a molecular structure, a structure in which the phenolic hydroxyl group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (P) and the alkoxy group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (B) are bonded with the other phenolic hydroxyl group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (P) or alkoxy group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (B) via the divalent aralkyl group (X).

    A high degree of resistance to moisture and solder and high flame retardancy are realized without incorporating a halogen in view of environmental friendliness. A phenolic resin has structural moieties which are a naphthylmethyloxy group- or anthrylmethyloxy group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (ph1), a phenolic hydroxyl group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (ph2), and a divalent aralkyl group (X) represented by general formula (1) below: (where Ar represents a phenylene group or a biphenylene group and Rs each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group) and has a structure in which plural aromatic hydrocarbon groups selected from the group consisting of the naphthylmethyloxy group- or anthrylmethyloxy group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (ph1) and the phenolic hydroxyl group-containing aromatic hydrocarbon group (ph2) are bonded through the divalent aralkyl group (X). This phenolic resin is used as a curing agent for an epoxy resin.

    A method for producing a polyimide film, comprising the steps of: obtaining a polyamic acid solution having a viscosity of 5 to 150 cps by preparing a raw material mixture liquid that contains a solvent, a tetracarboxylic dianhydride represented by a specific general formula, and an aromatic diamine represented by a specific general formula, and that has a total content of the tetracarboxylic dianhydride and the aromatic diamine of 15% by mass or less, and reacting the tetracarboxylic dianhydride and the aromatic diamine with each other in the raw material mixture liquid to form a polyamic acid having a repeating unit represented by a specific general formula; obtaining a polyimide-forming mixture liquid by adding a compound represented by a specific general formula to the polyamic acid solution; and obtaining a film made of a polyimide represented by a specific general formula by forming a film made of the polyimide-forming mixture liquid, followed by imidization of the polyamic acid in the film.

    The present invention relates to a method for producing a polymer electrolyte molded article, which comprises forming a polymer electrolyte precursor having a protective group and an ionic group, and deprotecting at least a portion of protective groups contained in the resulting molded article to obtain a polymer electrolyte molded article. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a polymer electrolyte material and a polymer electrolyte molded article, which are excellent in proton conductivity and are also excellent in fuel barrier properties, mechanical strength, physical durability, resistance to hot water, resistance to hot methanol, processability and chemical stability. A polymer electrolyte fuel cell using a polymer electrolyte membrane, polymer electrolyte parts or a membrane electrode assembly can achieve high output, high energy density and long-term durability.
