  The reactions of elemental sulfur and diaryl disulfide with the compounds bearing a semipolar S→N linkage were investigated. Elemental sulfur was found to react with N-arenesulfonylsulfilimine and sulfoximine affording the corresponding sulfide and the sulfoxide respectively.
