Propene oligomerisation was successfully performed at a temperature range from - 20 degrees C to + 70 degrees C with the precursor [Cp(C(5)H(4)SiMe(2)tol)ZrMe2] (Cp = C5H5; tol = p-C6H5Me) and either B(C6F5)(3) or [Ph3C] [B(C6F5)(4)] as the activator.
