  N.N'-[1.2-Ethanediytbis(thio)]bis[N-methyt-carbamic fluoride] having the formula is useful as an intermediate in the preparation of insecticidal carbamates. The compound can be made by containing N-methyl carbamyl fluoride with ethane-1,2-disulfenyl chloride in the presence of a base which functions as an acid acceptor.
