  A method for the synthesis of organoplatinum compounds containing a PtS σ-bond has been found. PhPt(PPh3)2SC6H4F-4 and 4-FC6H4Pt(PPh3)2SPh was obtained by redox-demercuration of PhHgSC6H4F-4 under the action of Pt(PPh3)4.
