  and chlorodiphenylmethylsilane. Reaction of dichlorodiphenylgermane with the azobenzene-dilithium adduct gave octaphenyl-1,2,4,5-tetraaza-3,6-digermacyclohexane. Diphenyltin and azobenzene were obtained from the reaction of diphenyltin dichloride with the azobenzene-dilithium adduct; whereas, metallic lead and azobenzene were isolated from the corresponding reaction employing diphenyllead dichloride.
