    An ink composition is provided that includes (A) a radically polymerizable compound, (B) a radical polymerization initiator; and (C) a colorant, and the radically polymerizable compound (A) includes at least one type of compound represented by Formula (Ia) and/or compound represented by Formula (Ib) and at least one type of compound represented by Formula (II) (in Formula (Ia), Formula (Ib), and Formula (II), R1, R3, and R5 independently denote a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, A1 to A3 independently denote a single bond or a divalent linking group, R2 and R4 independently denote a monovalent substituent, m denotes an integer of 0 to 13, n denotes an integer of 0 to 19, when m is an integer of 2 to 13 the R2s may be identical to or different from each other, and when n is an integer of 2 to 19 the R4s may be identical to or different from each other). There is also provided an inkjet recording method that includes (a1) a step of discharging the ink composition onto a recording medium, and (b1) a step of curing the ink composition by irradiating the discharged ink composition with actinic radiation.
