  摘要：

  In this paper, we describe the synthesis of new 5-dialkylaminomethyl-substituted hydantoin derivatives (3 and 9) from beta-aminoalanines (1 or 6) and some chemical properties of the synthesized compounds. A synthetic trial for the preparation of a new twin-drug type molecule (12) is also described.

  5-dialkylaminomethylhydantoins against Gram-negative (Escherichia coli) and Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) strains, some molecular modifications were attempted. The antibacterial activities of all of the synthesized hydantoin derivatives were evaluated. Among the hydantoin derivatives designed in this study, C₂-symmetrical twin-drug type compound (7) showed the highest level of antibacterial activity

  We report chemical modifications of 5-methylenehydantoins (3a-e) with various amine nucleophiles to 5-substitutedhydantoins and transformations the obtained hydantoins to new symmetrical twin-drug type bivalent molecules 12 and 13. We also report 5-methylenehydantoin derivatives (3a) with some symmetrical diamines such as piperadine, ethylene-1,2-diamine, and 1,2-phenylenediamine. From trials using diamines such as ethylene-1,2-diamine and 1,2-phenylenediamine, hydantoin ring-opened products 10 and 11 were isolated predominantly.
