  Luminescent lanthanide complexes (Eu3+ and Tb3+) of a new tripod polyaromatic acid ligand, H3TCM 2,4,6-tris[(2'-carboxyphenoxy)methyl]-1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, have been prepared.
