    The present invention includes a method of preparing an inkjet ink imaged lithographic printing plate, comprising the steps of: imagewise applying onto a substrate coated with an inkjet ink reactive coating composition comprising a diazonium material, an inkjet ink to produce an imaged coated substrate wherein the inkjet ink imaged regions are oleophilic and more developer-insoluble than non-imaged regions; and contacting said imaged and non-imaged regions of said an imaged coated substrate and an aqueous developer to selectively remove said coating from said developer soluble non-imaged regions. The present invention also includes a lithographic printing plate, such as an inkjet ink imaged lithographic printing plate, which is prepared by the method of the present invention.

    The subject invention provides a two-phase liquid-liquid extraction process that enables sorting and separation of single-walled carbon nanotubes based on (n, m) type and/or diameter. The two-phase liquid extraction method of the invention is based upon the selective reaction of certain types of nanotubes with electron withdrawing functional groups as well as the interaction between a phase transfer agent and ionic moieties on the functionalized nanotubes when combined in a two-phase liquid solution. Preferably, the subject invention enables efficient, bulk separation of metallic/semi-metallic nanotubes from semi-conducting nanotubes. More preferably, the subject invention enables efficient, bulk separation of specific (n, m) types of nanotubes.

    [EN] The subject invention provides a two-phase liquid-liquid extraction process that enables sorting and separation of single-walled carbon nanotubes based on (n, m) type and/or diameter. Le procédé d'extraction liquide à deux phases de l'invention est basé sur la réaction sélective de certains types de nanotubes avec des groupes fonctionnels extracteurs d'électrons ainsi que sur l'interaction entre un agent de transfert de phase et des fractions ioniques sur les nanotubes fonctionnalisés lorsqu'ils sont combinés dans une solution liquide à deux phases. De préférence, l'invention permet une séparation en masse efficace des nanotubes métalliques/semi-métalliques des nanotubes semi-conducteurs. Idéalement, l'invention permet une séparation en masse efficace de types spécifiques (n, m) de nanotubes.
