Mono-, di- and trinuclear ruthenium complexes Ru(a)L(b) (DMSO)(c)Cl-d(PF6)(e) where a = 1-3, b = 1-4, c = 3-7. d = 2-7, e = 0-3 and L = [1(4)]metaheterophane, protophane, 1,2,4-1H-triazole or its sodium salt have been prepared by the reaction of cis-Ru(DMSO)(4)Cl-2 with every ligand and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and H-1-NMR spectroscopy as well as by mass spectrometry (FAB(+)).
