The synthesis of various derivatives of 1,2,4,3-triazaphospholes by two methods is described and two kinds of isomers are separated by a chemical method. Their chemical properties have been studied by means of 31P NMR from the point of view of basicity, complexation, reactivity of the double bonds and electrophilicity of the dicoordinated P atom.
