  (EN) The present invention is concerned with novel hydroxamic acid derivatives of formula (I) and their use in medical therapy, particularly in the prophylaxis or treatment of clinical conditions for which an inhibitor of the lipoxygenase or cyclooxygenase mediated arachidonic acid metabolic pathway is indicated. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical formulations and processes for the preparation of compounds according to the invention. In formula (I), X is cyano, fluoro, or chloro; or a salt, solvate, or physiologically functional derivative thereof.(FR) L'invention porte sur de nouveaux dérivés de l'acide hydroxamique de formule (I), et sur leur utilisation thérapeutique, particulièrement pour la prophylaxie ou le traitement d'états cliniques pour lesquels est indiqué un inhibiteur de la voie métabolique de l'acide arachidonique à médiation cyclooxygénasique et lipoxygénasique.
