  Reaction between 2,6-(CF3)(2)C6H3Li (Ar'Li) and/or 2,4-(CF3)(2)C6H3Li (Ar"Li) and SbCl3 has afforded a series of new antimony(III) derivatives. which have all been identified in Solution by F-19 NMR spectroscopy. The unusual compound Ar'Ar"Sb-2 has been isolated, and its crystal and molecular structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Ar'Ar''Sb-2 is only the second example of a compound containing three fluoroxyl ligands to be structurally characterised. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
