Synthesis and complexation study of (1,4-linked)-homothiaisocalixnaphthalenes

A series of new cavity-containing molecular receptors, “homothiaisocalixnaphthalenes” containing 2,3-dialkoxy-substituted naphthalene units, have been synthesized, and some of their complexation properties have been investigated.
