Novel chiral 1,3,2-oxazaphospholane-2-sulfides incorporating a dihydropyridine ring have been synthesized via phosphorylation of 2-aminopyridinium salts, followed by in situ oxidation and cyclocondensation with 2-(alkylamino)ethanol.
