  [EN] The present invention relates to compounds of general formula (I) as cyclooxygenase-I selective inhibitors, to the pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates thereof, and to pharmaceutical compositions containing them. The compounds show an analgesic and antiinflammatory action, while, in patients with pre-existent ulcers and gastrointestinal disturbances, they do not cause any higher incidence of these conditions nor worsen them neither delay the healing thereof. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the compounds as well as to the therapeutic use thereof.
  [FR] La présente invention concerne des composés de la formule générale (I), lesquels constituent des inhibiteurs sélectifs de la cyclooxygénase-I, des sels et solvates de ceux-ci, acceptables sur le plan pharmacologique, ainsi que des compositions pharmaceutiques les contenant. Ces composés possèdent une action analgésique et anti-inflammatoire, tandis que chez des patients présentant des ulcères préexistants et des troubles gastro-intestinaux, ils ne provoquent pas une fréquence plus élevée de ces pathologies ni ne les aggrave, pas plus qu'ils ne retardent la cicatrisation de celles-ci. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de ces composés de même que l'usage thérapeutique de ceux-ci.
