  A triazole of the formula: where R is a phenyl group optionally substituted by 1 to 3 substituents each independently selected from F, C1, Br, I, CF3, C1-C4 alkyl and C1-C4 alkoxy, or R is a 5-chloropyrid-2-yl group; R' is a phenyl group optionally substituted by 1 to 3 substituents each independently selected from F, C1, Br, I, CF3, C1-C4 alkyl and C1-C4 alkoxy; and X is -OH, -F, -C1 or -Br; or an O-ester or O-ether of a compound in which X is -OH; or a pharmaceutically or agriculturally acceptable salt of said compound, ester or ether. The compounds are useful in treating fungal infections in human beings, and as agricultural fungicides.
