  Granules for controlled release of Tamsulosin, the granules including Tamsulosin and a carrier matrix. The carrier matrix further includes 10 to 50% by weight of a hydrophobic substance selected from the group consisting of: glycerol behenate, glyceryl monostearate, wax, mono-, di- and trisubstituted glycerides, calcium stearate and mixtures thereof.
