Solche Polyimide, die Reste von einer Banzophenontetracarbonsäure enthalten, sind strahlungsempfindlich und autophotovernetzbar. Die Polyimide eignen sich zur Herstellung von Filmen, Schutzüberzügen und photographischen Reliefabbildungen.
