have been synthesized by regiospecific cycloaddition of phenoxyacetyl on to 2-methylthio-4-(p-R-phenyl)-3H-1,5-benzodiazepines IV. The structure was established by ir, 1H-nmr and ms spectral data together with 13C-nmr spectral data of desulfurization products, VIa.
