  alk-1-enyl-, and aryldifluoroboranes RBF2 was elaborated. Suspensions of the easily available and storable K [RBF3] salts undergo fluoride abstraction when treated with boron trifluoride to form solutions of the corresponding difluoroboranes RBF2.
