One- and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy was used to determine the structure of the phenyldichloroarsine-British anti-lewisite adduct. The major component had the hydroxymethyl group in the anti orientation with respect to the phenyl ring on the arsenous atom. This structure was based on the chemical shifts of the 1H and 13C resonances and on the respective homonuclear coupling constants.
