A mild and operationally simple deoxygenation of epoxides, sulfoxides, and amine N-oxides is described using a sub-stoichiometric amount of low-valent niobium complexes generated in situ from commercially available NbCl5 and zinc dust. The synthesis of 5- to 8-memebered cyclic thioethers 4 has been achieved through a simple two-step sequence. The present methodology utilizes the facile Friedel−Crafts acylation of terminal alkynes 1 with acid chlorides 2 followed by tandemC(sp3)−S and C(sp2)−S bond formations with NaSH·xH2O.
5至8元环硫醚4的合成已通过简单的两步序列完成。本方法论利用末端炔烃1与酰氯2的轻度Friedel-Crafts酰化反应,然后与NaSH· x H 2 O串联形成C(sp 3)-S和C(sp 2)-S键。
