Abstract Reaction of dichloro(difluoroamino)methanesulfenyl chloride, NF 2 CCl 2 SCl, with silver(II) fluoride, AgF 2 , forms the new compounds, NF 2 CCl 2 SF and NF 2 CCl 2 SF 3 . NF 2 CCl 2 (O)F results either from the hydrolysis of NF 2 CCl 2 SF 3 or oxygenation of NF 2 CCl 2 SF. Hydrogen chloride converts NF 2 CCl 2 S(O)F to NF 2 CCl 2 (O)Cl quantitatively.
