It is an object of the present invention to
(1) improve strength and durability further,
(2) achieve a larger area, and
(3) facilitate handling at the time of membrane synthesis,
by performing compounding with an imido-network polymer that is a high-density electrolyte material. As a result, a composite electrolyte membrane having high ion conductivity can be formed and the composite electrolyte membrane can be made applicable to a solid polymer fuel cell, whereby a high-performance fuel cell can be realized.
According to the present invention, the above object can be achieved by improving the filling rate of a porous membrane with an imido-network polymer.
