    Phthalate Plasticizers Covalently Bound to PVC: Plasticization with Suppressed Migration
    摘要:
    The internal plasticization of PVC by displacement of chlorine with phthalate-based thiol additives, that is, the covalent attachment of the plasticizer to the PVC chain, is described for the first time. Using this methodology, a good plasticization efficiency is achieved although flexibility is reduced compared with that of commercial PVC-phthalate systems. However, the migration is completely suppressed. This approach may open new ways to the preparation of flexible PVC with permanent plasticizer effect and zero migration.

    To provide an ink jet yellow ink to be used in combination with ink excellent in light resistance and environmental gas resistance with a color fading balance with respect to light and an environmental gas between the inks uniformized. The ink jet yellow ink is an ink jet yellow ink to be used for forming an image together with a cyan ink comprising a compound represented by a general formula (1) or a compound represented by a general formula (2) as a coloring material, the ink jet yellow ink comprising: at least one kind of coloring material selected from the following A group; and at least one kind of coloring material selected from the following B group. A group: C.I. Direct Yellow 132 and C.I. Direct Yellow 173 B group: C.I. Direct Yellow 142, C.I. Direct Yellow 86, and a compound represented by a general formula (3).

    Gas resistance of an image is evaluated by placing the image in a mixed gas atmosphere containing at least ozone and nitrogen dioxide. The mixed gas atmosphere is controlled such that the concentrations of ozone and nitrogen dioxide are not less than 75 ppb and not less than 150 ppb, respectively, and the mixed gas is continuously supplied to the surface of a sample bearing the image at a flow rate not less than 0.2 m/s and not more than 3.0 m/s.
