The activation of human serum complement by nitrogen bubbles was studied in-vitro. Sera (with or without red blood cells) obtained from four healthy volunteers, two males, were exposed to nitrogen bubbles delivered from a specially designed bubbler for 1 to 30 minutes at 37 °C. Control samples were incubated at 37 °C for the same period but not exposed to nitrogen bubbles. The extent of complement fixation was determined by measuring formation of the fluid phase complement split product C5a-des-Arg (C5a) by a radio immunoassay technique. In the experiments involving erythrocytes, red cell bound C3d was also measured. The concentration of C5a was significantly increased in sera exposed to nitrogen bubbles for 30 minutes. Serum C5a concentration was nonsignificantly increased after 15 minutes exposure. C5a concentrations were significantly increased for up to 60 minutes after a 15 minute exposure to nitrogen bubbles ended. The presence of red blood cells increased the extent of complement activation. The extent of erythrocyte/C3d binding was increased by exposure to nitrogen bubbles. It was concluded that serum complement activation may be responsible for some of the symptoms of decompression sickness, especially the intra and interindividual variations in morbidity. C3d deposition also occurs on red blood cells during nitrogen induced complement activation. This suggests that bystander erythrocyte bound C3d may be an important biomarker for in-vivo complement activation.

制备方法与用途

阴离子表面活性剂——十二烷基醚硫酸钠(AES, SLES),是一种性能优良的去污剂。其用量仅次于LAS,广泛应用于各类洗涤产品中。

AES 具有出色的去污、乳化、润湿和增溶能力,溶解性好且具有良好的增稠效果。它还表现出广谱配伍性和强抗硬水性,并具有较高的生物降解度,对皮肤和眼睛的刺激性较低。这种表面活性剂广泛用于液体洗涤剂,如餐洗液、洗发香波、泡沫浴液和洗手液。

此外,AES 还可应用于洗衣粉及重垢洗涤剂中。使用 AES 部分或全部替代 LAS 不仅可以减少磷酸盐的用量,还能降低总活性物含量。同时,在纺织印染、石油、皮革等行业中,AES 也可作为润滑剂助染剂、清洁剂、发泡剂和脱脂剂等。

    A method and a device for the sulfonation or the sulfation of organic liquid raw materials with an S0 3 /air mixture and other reaction gases in order to perform rapid, highly exothermic gas-liquid reactions in conventional thin-layer falling-film reactors are disclosed. The introduction of the S0 3 /air mixture occurs through several feed locations, which are located within (along) the reaction tube or reaction tubes or in the annular gap of annular-gap falling-film reactors. High peak temperatures, undesirable byproducts, worsening of the color and local oversulfation or oversulfonation, which leads to side reactions, are largely avoided.

    The present invention is related to a formulation based on (i) micronized natural calcite mineral (MC) of particles size from 500 nm to 5 μm, which contains variable amounts of calcite (CaCO 3 ), dolomite [CaMg (CO 3 ) 2 ], ankerite [Ca (Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn) (CO 3 ) 2 ], and quartz (SiO 2 ); (ii) micronized zeolite of particles size from 500 nm to 5 μm, of general formula (M n+ ) x/n [(AlO 2 ) x (SiO 2 ) y].mH 2 O (MZ) wherein Me=Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu; whereas ratio of silicon to aluminum, y:x is between 1:1 to >10:1; whilst m is number of crystalline water molecules which can be from 0 to >20; and of (iii) one or more additives which, with components (i) and (ii), yiled in the final form of the formulation suitable for practical use: powder; wettable powder; concentrate for suspension; or granules; and/or which enhance basic biological actions of (i). The applications of the formulation result in the following effects: more effective stimulation of photosynthetic process in plants; more efficient stimulation of plant growth; enhanced viability of plants to stresses and diseases; improved absorption of nutrients from calcite mineral itself; improved absorption of nutrients applied through the soil; and especially, increased crop yields.

    The present invention is related to a formulation based on micronized natural calcite mineral consisting of: A. mineral part which is characterized: (i) by the particle size with diameter smaller than 5 μm, where the distribution of particle size is such that minimum of 10% of particles are with diameter under 900 nm, with total surface of particles greater than 3.2 m 2 /g, and with total porous volume greater than 0.012 cm 3 /g, and by composition: (ii) CaCO 3 , MgCO 3 , FeCO 3 , MnCO 3 , ZnCO 3 and SiO 2 in mixtures where CaCO 3 is presented in amount from 10% to 99% of mineral part; and B. adjuvant selected from the group consisting of: wetting agent, drift-control agent at application by spraying, humic acid salt, amino-acids salts, complex of plant micro-nutrients, vitamin, plant hormone, nitrogen fertilizer, potassium salt, borate salt, molybdate salt, plant extract, chlorophyll, yeast extract, or mixture of these substances; where A. and B. form an aqueous suspension wherein percentage of A. and B. is lower than 5% by weight. The formulation from this invention is used as a plant booster and mineral fertilizer for stimulation of photosynthetic process in plants, stimulation of plants growth, reinforcement of plant resistance to physiological and anhydrous stress, reinforcement of resistance to different plant diseases, for improvement of nutrient absorption, for increasing crop yields, and for plant nutrition.
