    A process for preparing fluorochemical compounds, e.g., perfluoroalkanes, perfluoroethers, and perfluoroalkyl tertiary amines, comprises (a) forming a mixture comprising at least one fluorinatable, non-functional organic starting compound, e.g., propane, and at least one other compound which is present in an amount sufficient to enable the formation of a fluorochemical phase and which is selected from the group consisting of (i) perfluorochemical compounds, e.g., perfluorohexane, which boil at a higher temperature than either the fluorinatable, non-functional organic starting compound or the fluorochemical compound resulting from the subsequent fluorination of the fluorinatable, non-functional organic starting compound; and (ii) precursor compounds, e.g., hexane, which can be fluorinated in situ to produce such perfluorochemical compounds; and (b) subjecting the mixture to electrochemical fluorination in the presence of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride.

    The present invention relates to a fluororesin including a residue unit represented by a following general formula (1) and having a haze value equal to or less than 2% of a heat-press molded product (thickness 1 mm) with a small haze value of a melt-molded product and a method for producing the same. In the formula (1), Rf1, Rf2, Rf3 and Rf4 each independently represent one of the groups consisting of a fluorine atom, a linear perfluoroalkyl group having 1 to 7 carbon atoms, a branched perfluoroalkyl group having 3 to 7 carbon atoms, and a cyclic perfluoroalkyl group having 3 to 7 carbon atoms, the perfluoroalkyl group may have an ethereal oxygen atom, Rf1, Rf2, Rf3 and Rf4 may be linked to each other to form a ring having 4 or more and 8 or less carbon atoms, and the ring may include an ethereal oxygen atom. The present invention further relates to a method for producing fluororesin particles that each include a fluorine-containing aliphatic ring structure. The method comprises a precipitation step of lowering a solution temperature of a fluororesin (A) solution in which a fluororesin (A) including a fluorine-containing aliphatic ring structure is dissolved in a solvent (B), to precipitate particles of the fluororesin (A). The method is excelling in productivity and making it possible to remove foreign matter.

A fluorinated elastic copolymer composition comprising a fluorinated elastic copolymer having units based tetrafluoroethylene and units based on CF2=CFORf1 (wherein Rf1 is a C1-10 perfluoroalkyl group), and a fluorinated solvent having a perfluorohydrocarbon group, wherein the perfluorohydrocarbon group having the largest number of carbon atoms in the fluorinated solvent has from 3 to 7 carbon atoms, the fluorinated solvent has a boiling point of from 50 to 160° C., and the fluorinated solvent has a fluorine atom content (fluorine atom content (mass %)=(19× number of fluorine atoms in the fluorinated solvent/molecular weight of the fluorinated solvent)×100) of from 69 to 80 mass %.
