The present invention relates to preparation of sustained formulation by using dimeticone as carrier. Said formulation consists of active ingredient (e.g. drugs against parasites, insecticides, NSAIDs, antibiotics, sex hormone like agents or oily soluble vitamins) 0.5~40%(W/V), dimeticone 100% (V/V). Suitable stablizer, antioxidant, local analgesics and material for sustaining release also can be added. The formulation comprising abamectins agents against parasites, which is prepared with dimeticone as medium, can provide long-lasting action up to 50-120 days by subcutaneous injection in a single administration. The lasting period can be modified by adjusting the administration dosage. The formulation according to the present invention is bio-compatible, stable and injectable.
