    Provided are a recycling method for industrially, simply and effectively recycling a phenolic body from a phenolic antioxidant which is masked by an organoaluminum compound and contained in an olefin polymer obtained by supplying the masked phenolic antioxidant upon polymerization; and an olefin polymer obtained by this method. In a method for recycling a phenolic antioxidant wherein a phenolic antioxidant which is masked by an organoaluminum compound and contained in an olefin polymer obtained by supplying the masked phenolic antioxidant upon polymerization is recycled to a phenolic body, a nitrogen gas comprising water and/or a proton donor at a volume ratio of 1.0×10-6 to 2.5×10-2 with respect to 1 volume of nitrogen is brought into contact with the olefin polymer.

    The present invention provides a method of producing an olefin resin composition by which an olefin resin composition in which reduction in the physical properties and occurrence of yellowing after a sterilization treatment by irradiation with radiation are suppressed can be produced. The method of producing an olefin resin composition according to the present invention is a method of producing an olefin resin composition for a molded article to be used after a sterilization treatment by irradiation with radiation, the method comprising: blending, before or during polymerization of an olefin monomer, a phenolic antioxidant, which is represented by the following Formula (1) and masked with an organoaluminum compound, in an amount of 0.001 to 0.5 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of an olefin resin obtained by the polymerization; and blending, at any one point of before, during or after the polymerization of the olefin monomer, a phosphorus-based antioxidant in an amount of 0.001 to 3 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the olefin resin obtained by the polymerization: (wherein, R represents, for example, an alkyl group having 12 to 24 carbon atoms which is optionally branched and/or substituted).

    The present invention provides a stabilized polyolefin-based resin composition for use in food items, medical services and water service pipes, which has superior non-migratory and hygienic properties. The polyolefin-based resin composition for use in food items, medical services and water service pipes according to the present invention comprises a polyolefin-based resin obtained by polymerization of an olefin-based monomer with an addition of a phenolic antioxidant represented by the following Formula (I): (wherein, R 1 and R 2 each independently represents, for example, a hydrogen atom; and T represents, for example, a C 1 -C 30 alkyl group which is optionally branched and/or optionally has a cycloalkyl group) which phenolic antioxidant is masked with an organic aluminum compound, to a catalyst system or polymerization system before or during the polymerization of the olefin-based monomer, in which polyolefin-based resin composition, the phenolic antioxidant represented by the above Formula (I) is added in an amount of 0.001 to 0.5 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the aforementioned polyolefin-based monomer.

The polyolefin-based resin composition according to the present invention comprises a polyolefin-based resin obtained by polymerization of an olefin-based monomer with an addition of a phenolic antioxidant represented by the following Formula (I): (wherein, R represents a C 1 -C 30 alkyl group or C 2 -C 30 alkylene group which is optionally branched and/or optionally has a cycloalkyl group, a C 3 -C 12 cycloalkyl group which is optionally substituted or a C 6 -C 18 aryl group which is optionally substituted), which phenolic antioxidant is masked with an organic aluminum compound, and a phosphorus-based antioxidant to a catalyst system or polymerization system before or during the polymerization of the olefin-based monomer, in which polyolefin-based resin composition, the phenolic antioxidant represented by the Formula (I) and the phosphorus-based antioxidant are added in an amount of 0.001 to 0.5 parts by mass and 0.001 to 3 parts by mass, respectively, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the olefin-based monomer.
