  The mercurial [(CF3)2NO]2Hg reacts with the perfluoroimine CF3NCF2 to give the mercurial [(CF3)2NOCF2](CF3)N} 2Hg, thermal decomposition of which affords the compounds CF3NC[ON(CF3)2]OC[ON(CF3)2]NCF3 and CF3NCFON(CF3)2 as major products, possibly via a series of elimination-addition reactions involving mercury compounds.
