Two new platinum(II) complexes with dithioether ligands, cis-[Pt(L1)Cl2] (1) and cis-[Pt(L2)Cl2]2 (2), where L1=1,3-bis(phenylthio)propane and L2=1,5-bis(n-propylthio)pentane, have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction analyses.
